The chef

Not your average sushi-shop, Hashi is owned and led by Chef Andy Galsan. Originally from Ulaanbaatar, Chef Andy moved to Chicago from Saitama Yamaguchi Japan and has been part of awarded teams at Naoki, Summer House Santa Monica, Jellyfish, Sushi Samba, Sushi Den, Hatsu Hana, and most recently as Lead Sushi Chef at the Park Hyatt Water Tower.

Besides his work in Chicago, Chef Andy has worked with teams in Michigan, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Colorado.

Hashi Sushi is Chef’s first restaurant as Owner and invites all to come and enjoy uniquely beautiful food in an atmosphere of true neighborhood warmth and hospitality.
